I do understand there most of the time an open market somewhere, but when the majors or the USA is on holiday, trading can be different (sometimes for the better )
Most english speaking countries were celebrating Thanks Giving while nobody in Continental Europe celebrate it, Japan have a so called thanks Giving holiday, but it is the next day of the USA one. Trading volume was much lower.

Christmas is not everybody event and holidays, Asia and Middle East doesn't take time off.
Continental Europe doesn't celebrate Boxing day...

It might not be useful if you trade only during your local market zone.
While I follow the trading across all continent I feel it would help me at least to know when trading volume can be affected during some countries holidays.
