Hi Anton,

Glad the problem is solved (did 'CCleaner' help)??? Works for me to clear up a whole HOST of things on a daily basis and keeps my workstations 'clean'!!!

As far as the 'Parabolic SAR - that's all!!!' thread is concerned:

Sorry: I was unaware that you'd actually gone through most of the 222 pages!!! Good on you. I believe (and I don't say this because it was I that started the thread) that there is a lot of valuable 'insight' into what it's REALLY like to be a new trader (or 'noob' - an expression which I detest personally i.e. it's 'degrading' in my opinion but I DO know that it's not meant so i.e. 'just and expression'). So if you can 'stomach' my 'rantings and ravings' about my music and OTHER 'loves and vices' in life then there are a lot of valuable contributions by myself (valuable I THINK anyway) as well as by quite a few other very good people (most of which appear to have dissapeared from the 'scene' unfortuanately).

As far as your suggestion goes: I think I HAVE detailed (sort of) my 'final Parabolic SAR system' at the end of the thread i.e. the one that uses Fractals with Parabolic SAR. It's the best that I've come up with as far as that thread is concerned. Having said that I am still a firm believer that Parabolic SAR on it's own as per it's original design can be a 'money spinner' OVER THE LONG TERM IF it suits your 'trading personality'.

Anton (or anyone that has either just started out or has been at this for a while and is 'horribly down' and is starting to 'lose the faith' BUT still has a little bit of money or margin left):

I STRONGLY urge you to go through THIS thread:

Trading Systems in 'New Concepts In Technical Trading Systems' by J. Welles Wilder

As I keep saying (to myself and everyone else): 'the book' is the SOLE reason that I'm not 'out on the street with a cardboard sign around my neck asking for donations'!!! YES it means you have to 'lay out' a small amount of cash for the book and YES it requires a lot of time and effort in the beginning but I ASSURE you that you won't be sorry. And yes I know: it's probably not HALF as exciting as trying to create your very own trading system(s) and 'claim the glory' but 'glory' does NOT put food on the table and pay bills!!!

I know other traders who have a greater need to be right most of the time than they have a need for the money they can make' (J. Welles Wilder Jnr. from 'New Concepts In Technical Trading Systems', 1978).
