Where I found this? You mean did someone tell me to use that? No, that's what determined to use that percentage on my own and it works for me.

20% * account balance
-------------------------- = Optimal Lot Size
% leverage

I open up to 3 trades.

Hi,
My intention with julian was not the points that he made here. Yes they are true, but on the other hand, they can be found in the first chapters of any Forex text that you can find. So not a real big eye opener.

My problem was he was caught in a lie twice. Come on here to help, not lie and mislead.

The mm example he gave here was a complete 180 from the example he gave in forextown about going all in with full lots regardless of account size. Then he finds his way here and says the exact opposite.
I didn't see the other thread he posted in, but yeah, you do need to tune your lot sizes based on your account equity. Some prefer to use NAV but I go by balance. Of course, you can "supersize" your lot sizes IF you are comfortable with that level of risk. It's a great way to make and lose a lot of money fast.
