Default Don't learn to trade from a broker

There is plenty of great information right here on Babypips.com

As far as finding a platform that can take you by the hand, well I don't know about that. I would recommend that you NEVER EVER EVER take trading advice from your broker.

My broker was trying to tell me all about how great trading the hong kong dollar was, then I looked at it and its got like a 25 pip spread on my platform! Yeah right..

When you talk to your "broker" on the phone you can say, "Hey dude, just give me the information that I need, then wash my car would ya?" These guys on the phone are NOT traders, they are most likely college students trying to pay their way through school.

A broker can offer you a demo and access to the market, but not trading recommendations.
