Do you need to have a clearer understanding of leverage?

I have been on this forum longer than almost everyone.

Therefore, I have seen material that most have not seen.

In the past there are some very high quality postings.

Here is a hyperlink to a thread that I recommend for all to read.
It is very accurate.
Only one of the posters is still with us - Rhodytrader.

It was thought at the time that Pipgod, the poster who started the thread, was a millionare, but he did not let on.

I think you give him too much credit, considering he was only going into account leverage with margin requirements and not true leverage with position size. I think true leverage is what most newbies have the hardest time with. Rhody was trying to come in and save the day but was getting shut down by Pipgods arrogance and need to be in the spot light.

I am thankful that I already have full understanding how leverage works before reading that. If I didn’t, I think I would be more confused.

So the reader should not only study this hyperlink, but also take into account the difference between account leverage and true leverage.
