Warning about Binary Options

I think binary options trading is similar to other trading businesses and cannot be classified as gambling, it involves the same risk as in forex however your risk of losses are already known in binary options trading. All you have to predict the value of the underlying assets and if you are good at calculating the price movements you will make good profits. Many forex traders are also using binary options trading to hedge against their forex trade which is a great tool for forex traders as well.

This is another warning, this time from ASIC (aka the Australian financial watchdog) against Ubinary binary options broker, which they believe is a scam.
The broker has a business address in Zurich and a bank account to the name of Option Logic Ltd, registered in the Sofia branch of UniCredit BulBank. According to the broker’s website, however, it is run and operated by UB Innovation Limited, registered on the Marshall Islands. The broker, however, does not provide any regulatory information.
Be careful with unregulated brokers, and especially unregulated binary options brokers.

Another warning coming from Canada’s Manitoba Securities Commission this time, about binary options broker Magnum Options after an elderly woman lost $10,200 by trading with them. The entity has no authorization to provide binary trading within Manitoba, or any other provide in Canada. The elderly victim of the scam became aware of it after she lost $2000 and was denied access to another $8000 in her account. The broker required her to complete two additional trades before she could withdraw her money. The broker “advised” her how to complete them and she lost the rest of her account.

I have noticed a lot many trader’s complaint regarding these binary options broker so it is good to be very careful while choosing a good broker to start with…and i guess there are very few brokers which are good for trading.

True, finding a non-scammy binary options broker is difficult. The complaints about scams have been increasing in number lately. What is more, those complaints led to a number of regulators taking a hardline stance against binary options brokers, at least in Europe. France banned their advertising, Belgium has banned them altogether, the Netherlands might ban them as well, and now the German regulator also announced that they’re considering a ban. Who knows where else that idea will take, but I doubt it will end with Germany.

I really think that binary options industry requires to be monitored by regulators and I guess those black sheep binary option brokers might also put the whole industry into any problem.

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (‘CySEC’) issued an announcement-warning on with regard to Airfinance Pro Ltd. – a company which is no longer authorized to provide financial services, as its license was suspended by the commission and later renounced. The company operates several binary options brands, the most popular of which is BuzzTrade.

CySEC has given BuzzTrade three-month term from the date of termination of license (renounced in November, 2016) to settle all its obligations arising from the investment services provided, but the company has not yet informed the regulator that it has done that.

Only work with licensed and regulated companies!

Hi John, hope you keep your money safe, rather go out to a casino, at least you will get a night out before losing! Trade safe!

The Australian regulator ASIC recently updated its black list of Forex and binary options brokers with a number of entries. The binary options brokers added to the list are VX Markets, Millennium Options, ARAM Binary Options and Ivory Option.

Ivory Option especially seem to be famous among regulators, because the Manitoba Securities Commission (MSC), the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC), Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) have all issued warnings about them.

I like trading binary options, it’s especially cool to trade with them when there’s a flat on the market. Having a good strategy one can earn good money, just like on forex, but withdrawing money may not be so simple. A broker must be chosen very responsibly.

The Italian regulator CONSOB has issued warnings against the binary options broker OptionInt twice over the span of a single month. The company apparently changed owners – or it is claiming that it has – over the same period of time, one can never be sure with such entities. It is also registered in an offshore zone somewhere, because of course it is. Don’t put your trust in such suspicious companies!

Canada’s regional regulator, the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC), has issued a warning against the binary options broker uTrader and its owner Day Dream Investments Ltd.
According to the BCSC, the company claims to be based in the offshore zone the Marshall Islands, but is not regulated and is not licensed to operate in British Columbia.
There are apparently multiple complaints from clients that the company pressures people to deposit money and then refuses to allow withdrawals by employing the various tricks used by such companies.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Once again, I’m convinced that binary options are just gambling

Binary option has worse odd than french roulette, it’s simpler but harder to master than other market, you’ll likely depend purely on luck rather than a skill most of the time, because you’re limited by time factor.

On the other hand, conventional market such as forex maybe more complicated, but you have more freedom for your trades. You have various styles to choose, you have more option of order types, and more importantly you have more control to your risk and also your reward.

Just my two cents.

There are so many scammers in the binary options industry that even the so-called recovery agents and recovery rooms often turn out to be scammers themselves.

Ex-BinaryBook employee Austin Smith pleaded guilty to investment fraud in US court.
Ironically, Mr. Smith now runs a company that is supposed to help victims get their money back from binary options scams like BinaryBook.

The United States Department of Justice has filed charges against Smith as a part of the case against Yukom CEO Lee Albaz, who was arrested in September 2017. Smith admitted to defrauding investors while working for Israeli binary options firm Numaris Communications (which cooperated with Yukom) through the websites BigOption and BinaryBook.

I bookmarked this page to be reminded of the experience you had. I think you did everything right. It’s always best to do a thorough research on a broker before giving them a shot. The best reviews are customer reviews and see what others have to say about the broker. Me personally, I rather start with one and if it works, stay with that. But it’s good to know of other options out there as well.

I feel you bro… Options is risky as hell.
