I can access all thread except "PSAR And That's All" In the Trading Systems section. When I click this thread a blank page is displayed and that is all.
Any suggestions?

Hello again Anton.

This MAY help you (and others) with the same problem (and sorts out many other problems that you probably are not even aware of):

Download this (freeware) ('CCleaner') from here:

CCleaner - Home

(Read about what it does if you like but suffice to say a lot of times these pages won't load because they're not being 'refreshed' properly or there is a problem with the 'cookies' that have already been downloaded onto your workstation).

I have been using this software (daily and sometimes even hourly or 'on the fly' for MANY years and I can assure you that's it 'virus free' and 'spyware free').

By the way I checked the thread for you and there is no problem with the thread itself!!!

ALSO: BE WARNED!!!

You need to be prepared to go through THE WHOLE THREAD i.e. don't just read the first post on there (by me) and think you've 'hit the jackpot' because I can assure you that you will have NOT 'hit the jackpot' i.e. a LOT of things happened from that day onwards and there were MANY MANY changes and ideas over the period covered by the thread.

Default Thanks again.

Thanks again for the help Dale. Problem solved.
Also, thanks for the warning. I was in the process of finishing up the thread when this problem arose. I know that no one system is infallable and that adjustments must always be made.
If I may make a suggestion:
If you could post what you think are the correct adjustments and ideas relating to your system, it may help to give a clearer view to the thread's readers of which idea's are relevant and which are not. It would definitlely make it easier to sort through the hundreds of posts and pick out the main points that you feel better the system. However, I am very aware that you must have commited many many hours to this thread already and may not wish to invest your time in such a post. Either way, thanks again for the system and for the your continued help and support.

Anton

Hi Anton,

Glad the problem is solved (did 'CCleaner' help)??? Works for me to clear up a whole HOST of things on a daily basis and keeps my workstations 'clean'!!!

As far as the 'Parabolic SAR - that's all!!!' thread is concerned:

Sorry: I was unaware that you'd actually gone through most of the 222 pages!!! Good on you. I believe (and I don't say this because it was I that started the thread) that there is a lot of valuable 'insight' into what it's REALLY like to be a new trader (or 'noob' - an expression which I detest personally i.e. it's 'degrading' in my opinion but I DO know that it's not meant so i.e. 'just and expression'). So if you can 'stomach' my 'rantings and ravings' about my music and OTHER 'loves and vices' in life then there are a lot of valuable contributions by myself (valuable I THINK anyway) as well as by quite a few other very good people (most of which appear to have dissapeared from the 'scene' unfortuanately).

As far as your suggestion goes: I think I HAVE detailed (sort of) my 'final Parabolic SAR system' at the end of the thread i.e. the one that uses Fractals with Parabolic SAR. It's the best that I've come up with as far as that thread is concerned. Having said that I am still a firm believer that Parabolic SAR on it's own as per it's original design can be a 'money spinner' OVER THE LONG TERM IF it suits your 'trading personality'.

Anton (or anyone that has either just started out or has been at this for a while and is 'horribly down' and is starting to 'lose the faith' BUT still has a little bit of money or margin left):

I STRONGLY urge you to go through THIS thread:

Trading Systems in 'New Concepts In Technical Trading Systems' by J. Welles Wilder

As I keep saying (to myself and everyone else): 'the book' is the SOLE reason that I'm not 'out on the street with a cardboard sign around my neck asking for donations'!!! YES it means you have to 'lay out' a small amount of cash for the book and YES it requires a lot of time and effort in the beginning but I ASSURE you that you won't be sorry. And yes I know: it's probably not HALF as exciting as trying to create your very own trading system(s) and 'claim the glory' but 'glory' does NOT put food on the table and pay bills!!!
