Babypips getting too busy???

A couple of hours ago I had a heck of a time trying to load babypips website. Sometimes just got a blank page, sometimes it said the server was reset while loading a page and to try again.

Once I did get in momentarily to the "Who's Online" page, and there were over 900 guests

as well as about 70 or so members. Now there's only about 300 guests and I'm not having a problem.

So as babypips attracts new members and guests, is this going to become a recurring problem?

Anyone else experience this?

I had problems connecting a couple days ago also. Wasn't able to check why but things seemed to connect okay a couple hours after the issue.

Seems okay now too. Must have been server congestion or something.

There was a period a few weeks back when I could hardly load the BP page, but I haven't had any problems lately.

We feel your pains on the website performance and we want to let you know that we are actively trying to better your experience while on BabyPips.com. The BabyPips.com community has grown steadily since its inception in early 2006, and with that growth has come the need for higher performing web server hardware and more efficient programming behind the scenes. You guys and gals have been great with the feedback and we're listening to you! We're currently pursuing several avenues to help fix some of the pain you're feeling. Server hardware has already been upgraded, and we're in the midst of adding additional servers to our existing infrastructure. Code enhancements are also underway, making complex areas of the website run more efficiently, and those changes will be on-going. Thanks again for your loyalty and patience while we work to make BabyPips.com quicker, leaner, and meaner (in a nice way!).

There is definitely a problem. I have come back to Baby Pips after a two year hiatus, and was trying to catch up on tymen1's postings in his candlestick threads. I often keep on getting a blank page when I try to enter the thread or navigate within it. Sometimes it is just his thread that has the problem while I can still access other threads, so I suspect that there are too many people trying to access this very popular thread at the same time. I have had the problem with both his Candlestick threads. I am posting this just as a feedback for admin and not as a complaint. This great site is free to users so we all just have to be patient at times like this.
Kudos to the creators of Baby Pips, and to all the generous contributors like tymen1 who have gone to such great efforts to share their knowledge and help others.
