Default Printed version of PDF of site

Hello:

I was just wondering if you folks have thought about using a company like lulu.com to make the site available in print (versus having Joe User print it him or herself)?

I'm assuming that you're talking about the school, and not the whole site, since the site itself changes regularly.

Right now the PDF of the school sells for $49. A quick peruse of lulu looks they charge $50 to put it all together for you, then you have to pay to have it printed and, of course, shipped.

That would raise the price considerably.

So, I'm talking about a printed version of the pdf. The pdf covers the school only.

And, it would NOT work like this:

1) Buy PDf
2) Buy lulu-printed book

It would be an either-or proposition (for me, anyway). If I bought the pdf it would be for printing (the "ad" for the pdf even suggests to buy it for printing). What I'm suggesting is to extend that pdf-to-print option for people who don't have an effective way of printing it themselves.

I can print it at work and then take it to Kinko's to have it bound, but I would prefer to just buy it already bound up in a softcover type format ("perfect bound" as lulu calls it). If I take it to Kinko's, I would just use a coil binding as their other binding choices are not cheap.

An 8.5"x11" B&W 100 page perfect bound book has a base cost of $6.53. They could charge the same price for the book as the PDF (or less or more, of course) as another option.

I see what you mean now.
