Candlesticks

What does the long stick above or below the candle mean and how do you know it is time to jump into the sea or shall I say the jungle? And a small candle? Sometimes empty inside, what does it exactly mean?

long sticks or commonly called wicks tells us that market has rejected a certain price area or level.

You should take positions based on much more than just a candle , but in general traders take positions upon the candle’s high or low break.

I don’t fully understand what you mean with empty but I assume you are refering to bullish candles which means price closed higher from where it oppened.

hope that helps
