At the moment I’m still on FXCM trading station demo account. I’m busy with my second month on the demo and also watching a lot of videos and free internet courses on Forex. Once I feel I’m ready to go live I’m going to open an FXCM live account.

Yes I am from Cape Town! Been interested in trading for a couple years now! Upgraded to a micro account and managed to keep it for over a year! I work full time so it’s been on and off! I would like to dedicate a good two months of solid trading so hopefully going to take some time off next year to trade and learn etc!

My father mentioned it to me a while back, that I should have a look at Forex. Well I took one glance at first and thought no ways not for me. After about 2 months I decided let me have a proper look and see what its all about. Well I got very interested and since then I study a lot and demo trade. I got to grade 7 in school of pipsology. I decided to study other material instead as I want to use the school at a later stage as sort of a recap and then do the exams.
I watched a webinar last night from FXCM/Daily FX. That was very educational. I put their method into practice the whole day. I have 9 closed positions so far and out of the 9 I have 8 profit takes and 1 loss. The loss was due to a mistake I made. I forgot to tick the sell box. I quickly rectify my mistake and only lost 0.15c. The webinar is a 4 part series. I can send you the link if you so required. Well worth the watch.
I would really like to find out some info from you, if you don’t mind. As you all ready crossed that hurdle. [Removed for Forums Policy violation]

Hi, I think the key to choosing a broker is by picking one that is regulated by a decent authority, I also looked at eToro because they seem to have some really innovative ideas about trading Forex but as soon as I saw they were regulated in Cyprus I steered well clear. I am now using metatrader 4 provided by a broker called Silicon markets, who are FCA regulated and they seem to be atleast somewhat competent. I think the key to choosing a broker is to make sure they are regulated either in UK or US.

I had the same problem. The ge customer service told me that they have send the money but i didnt recieve it till to the date. I requested for withdrawl in may. They are not even replying to me. Did you find how to withdraw or please let me know how to complain against them. I am living in canada right now.

I deposit high amount of money and i tried to withdraw funds from two days using paypal and its still under review.

Etoro is good since you want to withdrawal your money.
There is many problems with etoro when you want to get your money back. My story is really simple, i start use etoro and put 5000$ on the account, then all my document (bank & identity card) where fasted verified.
After 2 weeks, i win 12000$ then i wanted to withdrawal from etoro. the problem has begin :
- First things, the withdrawal process is LONNNG, all is done to discourage you, and when you finally reach the end of process, the window show this message “ANN ERROR OCCURED, PLEASE TRY AGAIN”
I try many many times to do a withdrawal without succes.
Then i decided to contact etoro…
After 10 days i never have any “HUMAIN” responses, only robots says “We are still working on your request”
Then, 10 days after, i finally receved a mail from etoro that precise that my account and money is bloked because the bank account is not verified ??? WHAT THE FUCK ? they verified it well on deposit …
Now, the account is blocked and i loose 12000$ on etoro.
please, just go away from etoro, etoro is scam, etoro is a robber, etoro will never paybaks you.
If you loose money (90% of user loose) you will never heard this, but if one day you win, you will never see your money back
Etoro will never pay you back, etoro is just a big scam
Has anyone successfully withdrew money from eToro, lately? I have the same situation and maybe even worse. My eToro account shows zero dollars which implies that the withdraw request was processed as of Feb. 23rd, 2018 but the funds didn’t show up in my bank account up to this date.
Very frustrated and thinking that maybe my money is gone for good!!

I have same problem too. I withdrAw 2nd week of march. Until now they cnt figure oit where the money is.
They deposited money in 2 separate occassion in my debit card.
Did they solve your case already?
They sent ARN but bank cant locate it still.
Where you ble to get your money? My case is almost going 2 months. They deposited myoney in debit card but my bank can’t locate iy even with ARN.

I’ve got same problem with that. I was wating for 2 month for withd wraw, and that my account was just closed. Lost almost 5k$.
So better to keep away from such scam.
You cannot have debit card without bank account. Isn’t ? Your credit card or debit card just the piece of plastic associated with IBAN bank account. Credit or debit card is just the tool which connects your bank account with services.
What is the point of debit card which is associated with real bank account if you cannot receive funds there. The whole point of debit card is that you deposit your funds in that account before you can spend it.
I don’t get it 
I had traded with this broker for quite a while and did not find any problem as such…Tried copy trading and did some fund withdrawals…It might not have worked for you. But it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work for others also.
