Has anyone read the encyclopedia of chart patterns? (Bulkowski)

Hi!
Im thinking of buying the encyclopedia of chart patterns by Bulkowski, seems to be informative.
Just have one question before I buy it. Do anyone know if the charts in the book are candle stick charts or bar charts?
I do not like reading books without candlesticks and I don´t want to pay 65$ for the book if the charts are bar charts…
