I CANNOT FIND ANY ARTICLE ONLINE THAT EXPLAINS WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. Someone I would really, and i mean REALLY appreciate it if you explained how to strategy test an ex4 file imported into MT4. With the two sample ea’s they give us, I am able to backtest just fine, and when the green bar has fully loaded, I can go to any tab and view the results of that backtest. However, with any ea I download, even from their official market, I click start but it finishes and gives no results! All the tabs with like graph report results are all blank!!! I am using a demo account. Could this be because the files are ex4 and not mq4???
Yes. It could be because of the files you downloaded. I had the same experience with the EAs I downloaded from the Internet !
It sounds like the EA simply didn’t make any trades.
Try this one and see if it trades.
