If you go to matrixnn dot com that is the one I am testing, can get it for $99. Why it had very good results last week this week seems to be a little slower. Markets look very sideways this week. there are hundreds around but I think only a few that do ok. Maybe read the other thread "the holy grail or the closest we will get" for more chat about it.

So far an average of 300 pips up for the 2 weeks its been running. 695 up last week but -395 (half of that was carried over from last week) this week with a few still open. Will post results tomorrow after close.

Whole EA's can do there job I have read sites where people are testing maybe 60 and only maybe 10% show a profit each month.

while indeed one of the LAST people on this planet who will embrace an EA, there is one or two things ive gathered about their behaviors.

watching the contests, ONE thing became immediately apparent in the behavior of the winning EA, and that was its creator FOUND a currency that would (or should) be TRENDING strongly --- with that advantage, what was a relatively simple (mind, i use the word "relatively" cause I cant do it !) EA had a GREAT playing field.

now, i feel strongly that one doesnt take an ea and simply take its leash off and tell it to "go fetch", but that YOU deserve what you get if you DONT do some homework and give that EA room to run and fetch !

those who go for the "get rich quick" EA's dont seem to grab hold of the idea that even a dog needs to be pointed in the right direction --- i FIRMLY believe you need to do that with ANY EA ALSO !

I think that is exactly right. I have monitored every trade on my demo account and every pair taking into account number of trades, total wins and losses and averages, max draw down during each trade and are picking the ones for my live account that I feel happy with. There are also several settings that can be tweaked to change the effect of the EA and also when you turn them on and off. Its certainly not a straight forward as turning it on Monday morning and off Friday night.

Which EA are you trying from .matrixnn? the V3 or V4 or V5??

Im using Matrixnn v 4. The first week I had the risk setting a little messed up so there was a trade with slightly bigger stop than it should have had. It has had 41 trades in 2 weeks with 2 stoped out. It closed 1314 pips up and 944 pips down so all up a 370 pip win over 2 weeks. Can I think manage the losses better. Some currency pairs perform better than others so only using the good ones on the live account at this point and testing all the others on a demo.
