    Default Crazy Ivan

    Hi fellow traders,
In the last 10 months I've been developing an EA called Crazy Ivan that can handle EURUSD and USDJPY positions for some time (from a few minutes to a few days).
The positions are taken based on an ATR and Commodity Channel Index combination invented by me and are sold when they reach 5 to 30 pips (depending on the time of the day and the market conditions).
I've tested a few brokers but best results have been obtained at FinFx because they have really low spreads, ECN and I haven't seen a single re-quote on those two pairs.
Crazy Ivan has a money management feature included that makes investments go bigger with Equity and free margin growth.
I'm running Crazy Ivan in a real account for more than two months and in a 5k initial deposit demo account started 15 days ago only with EURUSD.
See the results for yourself and, please, let me know what you think about it and ask all the questions you want.

Crazy Ivan runs on M5 timeframe and is fully automated - no human intervention whatsoever.
The EA trades without interruption 24/5 stopping only if the spread on any of the pairs goes over 3 pips and resuming automatically afterwards.

This is the 5k account that started trading on August, 7, 2012 trading only with EURUSD (4% risk)

This is the 50k account that started trading on August, 17, 2012 trading with EURUSD and USDJPY (2% risk on each pair)

This is the 1000k account that started trading on August, 20, 2012 trading only with EURUSD (4% risk)

    Hi Mendonca,
It is doing well so far.
If it is a real account you probably want to be a bit more conservative with your money management. 44% DD is a bit risky?

    good luck

    Hi goldylox,
In my real account I have precisely the same risk - 4%.
The DD is a necessary risk in this strategy but the constant flow of orders with profit reduces that potential problem.
    One has to be bold...

    Hi felipebr,
I'm planning to sell it but only after it tests itself profitable in the next few weeks.
The business model is already being studied but not yet defined.
Stay tuned and further info will be posted here.

One important information about this robot is that it needs a start investment of at least 3k EUR or 4k USD (preferably 5k to be more comfortable).

No plans to improve the DD because it is part of the strategy.
The target is really ambitious and is to reach 100% profit each month. Please don't laugh too much...
To get that kind of profit you must somehow improve the risk.
In this strategy we must live with that but if I can find a way to reduce it no doubt I'll do it.
