No contest use Oanda's market orders & MT4 FXPro or Alpari for charting.

What you are saying is plan the set up on mt4 using alpari/fx pro and do the order on OandA's live system?

I'm also about to go live.. did consider Oanda but the "up to 20pips" spread on news breakout and slippages are some of the major concerns I have..

Am currently considering saxo for the fixed spread and low slippage but the platform seems to be laggy.. not sure if it's just my computer or the server

20pip spread on news!?!?!? ouch. even with Duk i don't think i've ever seen more than 10pips and that's a very brief and rare spike in the spread. usually in the seconds after a news release it's no more than a 3pip spread, and even that is relatively brief. things settle down to the normal 1pip within 2 minutes the vast majority of the time anyways.
