I think you were a bit late on that trade, Short signal was given @ 1.5955. I didnt trade it because i miss it by a couple pips. Price is now resting on top of an old down trendline i drew some time ago, I might go Long if it bounce and the signals giving a heads up.

What time frame your trading on? Also what resistance did it breaks? Was it to the upside or downside?

My entry comes from a 30 min chart but look at 5min and 15min TL's, Stochs, etc. I saw a break on the 5min resistance around 10:05 am EST so I got out.

I see. Personally I think 5min charts is too small of a time frame to determine real trends, S and R levels. IMO.
I guess it fits your style of trading why your using it.

For sure, it is a small time frame. But that's how i've been trading it.

My profit is only 30 pips and my stop is 25, so I'm not trying to ride a huge trend. Just intraday ups and downs and trying to minimize my loss and maximize my gains.

It's been working well for me, so i'm just trying to tweak it as I go along.

930 signal...

Short at 1.5791
Exited at 1.5805

Pre US market open EURUSD was looking like a solid short, but shortly thereafter it started to reverse. Decided to cut my losses right before housing news came out since I didn't believe it could be any good.

Few days of trading left for April. Hoping for a solid finish above 150 pips for the month.

Today -14
MTD +126

[Please don't trade off of the inputs I enter here (as they will be old news by the time i post it). At some point I will setup a desktop sharing program for those interested in following it live]

"Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particularly trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk. Variables such as the ability to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses as well as maintaining adequate liquidity are material points which can adversely affect actual real trading results."

I think you should re-think your strategy on this pair, that last entry you post has produce over 100pips and counting. Just like that short entry yesterday it move about 70pips after you exited.
