I wasn't trading guppy yesterday.

I feel dumb for telling, but I was trying to pick off tops on the Euro after already riding it up most of the way.

I put to many positions on and felt it would be better to close out wrong than to build more with a big news day coming. So there we have it.

I opened two swing trades but have not made any intraday trades. So far my two swings have a small unrealized loss total of about -0.1%.

I was just teasing a bit - you're doing a fantastic job!

Actually, I feel dumb for telling, but I put on a silly trade today knowing it was low probability; and sure enough, it stopped out. It was a miniscule loss, but why even bother?

Your decision to proactively close out the trades to avert more movement against you was a mature decision. That kind of decision is hard, because it is a concession that you were wrong; but screw the ego: it is usually the right decision.

I got a small positive gain from trading the guppy and closing my swing euro positions early at a small loss. Normally just going off chart data I would have let my short euro trades ride, but the new upcoming fundamentals may push the euro even higher for a while.

As of right now I have one order open long on the guppy.

I opened one more trade last night on g/j and closed both today. I scalped some small movements on u/j and one on g/j this afternoon. I have one open order at this time.

Hindsight being 20/20, I should have trusted the charts and kept my euro trades open.

Wow, the euro is making me feel stupid for closing my swing shorts at a loss.

The charts were right. I should have trusted them. Oh well, it is time for me to get over it. That was soooooo two days ago.

I am one of the biggest BS'ers around here but this thread of mine is boring.

Yes, it is important to keep this thread going for the purpose of reporting and the serious stuff. On the other hand we need to put some color on it.

So all that "off on a tangent stuff" that you are afraid to post other places because someone will get mad and cry if it isn't "strictly business", post it here. I won't get mad if you thrash this thing.

Lets get some color on this thread.

Who will be the first one?
