Forex Factory Locked?

I've been using the news calendar on Forex Factory to sort of keep an eye on the basic fundamentals. I like this particular calendar because it tells me what currencies each bit of news ought to affect and how strongly they might be affected. Over this past week, I've come up with a way to use this in my trading. However, this morning I clicked the link to go there and it is now asking me for a username and password, something it has never done before?

Is this their way of saying the server is down for maintenance? Is their information no longer available to the general public? If so, are there any other good sites where I can get this kind of information in calendar format?

I had the exact same issue. I couldn't get the login to work. I even tried clearing my cache, and still the problem.

Instead, I went to profitingwithforex.com and read the news blogs and got some good info there.

The website was hacked. Apparently a trojan virus is going wild. They've been trying to prevent further complications. Try to stay away from it until tonight or tomorrow morning.

Oh thanks god it's a common issue. I don't know what I'd do without FF.

Always have two options. There is another clean site that is filling in a lot of the information that FF had, and it looks like a good secondary options. Bookmark FxTicker | Forex Trading as well. They both have a Calendar, News, and Forums.

But, in looking for an answer to what the heck was going

Tuesday April 17th 8:04 Est. ... forex factory was attacked yesterday.. and in the evening it was ok, this morning i went there again and i got the virus , luckily i thought it might still be under attack so i went there on my old computer, healing it now with free avg addition, it caught the virus. well just wanted to pass on the info to those of you who may visit that site as well. hopefully it gets fixed

even now as of a few minutes back, i am having problems entering forexfactory..
anyone else having same problems? it was working ok int he morning

It's working fine for me now. My antivirus program isn't complaining, so hopefully it's all fixed.
