Default The most educational thread on Babypips

There's a few really popular threads in this forum that are so in depth and educational, that one could read and study the thread as if it were a forex book or a forex course. I've seen these threads recommended numerous times in other threads, so I've decided the next educational forex material I study will be one of these great threads. But which one?

I think it will be useful for everybody if others could recommend threads that they have studied and which helped improve their trading greatly.

Below are some of 7 of the threads with highest number of views. I only put threads that were either teaching or directly referring to a trading system or theory in a (somewhat) organized manner.

There is a poll attached, so please vote on your favorite thread. Please only vote only if the thread has helped you improve your trading significantly. Don't vote if you've only looked at the thread and thought it was cool.

And of course, please discuss. Tell us how the thread has helped your trading. Feel free to include links to any threads that have really helped you that are not included in the poll.

By the way, new traders should absolutely start by reading the whole School of Pipsology first, then one of these threads or a book or something.

The 1st thread tells you all you need to know about making money within the content of the very first post & the 2nd thread extoles the virtues of using directional bias, support & resistance zones & key levels. Both are, in my opinion, worth their weight in gold.

Admins need to make this a sticky so that new members don't have to ask were to start. Nice list. I would recommend reading through the forex school that they have here before going through any of these threads. It gives a good solid foundation for everything forex. You can find the school here.
    School of Pipsology

After graduating from the school, anyone of the threads listed above will be great. Open a very small live account and start learning.

I second speed bump’s choices and also suggest the first 20-30 posts of the Pure Price Action For Dummies. thread.

I think the view count and number of posts says it all...
The material ICT (Inner Circle Trader) offers for free has no equivalent anywhere on the web space.
so, What Every New & Or Aspiring Forex Trader... Still Wants To Know all the way

If you are including all the videos available in What Every New & Or Aspiring Forex Trader... Still Wants To Know, there is no other option.

    Great input guys.

I would like to add more options to the poll, but I don't think it's possible, so I will just added some of the suggested threads to the first post of this topic. I am adding:

    The 3 Duck's Trading System
    Technical Templates Continued

Mr Gone, although I see there is great value in your thread, it's doesn't quite meet the criteria of the list. By that I mean rather than directly teaching or referring to a system or general theory of trading methodology, it looks like your thread is referring and discussing one aspect of trading (emotion). BTW I Million Dollar Traders on my to-watch list. Looks great.

Pipmart yes School of Pipsology of course. I'll add it to the first post. Everybody should read that first.

MORE VOTES PEOPLE, COME ON! :P

Those two threads are without doubt the two best on this forum.
