Out of interest does anyone trade a breakout strategy on the New york open?

Would be interested if anyone does, i find USDCAD to be good, but not sure if there is a better pair?

I find the London Session to be safer breaks. The New York open in my mind tends to produce several fakeouts.

The GBPUSD is what I like trading in the London open.

Thanks, i did find that GBPUSD gave me best results for the London open and the US open worked best with USDCAD, but yes i did see the fakeouts.

Out of interest do you and anyone else only trade the breakouts or do you use a couple of different strategies plus the breakout?

The GBP/USD pair has been trading big breaks lately at the London open.

Take a look at it, from the 4HR chart to the 1HR chart, you will see how the price is reacting to the peaks of yesterday's highs and lows.

Also keep an eye on the GU break at the Daily Opens and Closes

keep an eye on the other majors. I often watch several pairs because these moves are not confined on a single pair alone.
