EUR/GBP Spread too high for you?

Hi,

is the spread too high for you for EUR/GBP? my broker usually shows it as 3 pip spread. then when i go long, it seems like such a mountain to climb! and has put me off trading it :frowning:

My spread is 2.5 pips. Can’t help here other than changing your broker.

What broker are you with? My EURGBP spread is typically 0.5 pips (MT4i - Spread data for IC Markets - Live), but I do pay commission.

My FXCM spread for Eur/Gbp is about 2.5,
but I have a long-term trade with wide stops
for this pair, so it does not impact the overall (hoped for) outcome. Perhaps the OP could try to do longer trades too? Just a thought :slight_smile:

I am with Alpari UK. i have only been trading pivot points, so high spreads can make things difficult.

i will try hold out for more pips once i get experienced enough.
