Was reading a book the other day and came across forex futuers I have seen pairs on meta trader but never really cared to look into them until I came across it in this book. , I was wondering dose anybody here trade forex futuers and is it better . I heared also forex futuers can give you a better idea on where the curenncy is going to go ?
If you’re trading HFT then maybe, but the people that arb cash/futures in FX are probably the most hardcore technology wise since the market place is so comparatively simple compared with bonds/equities. The commission are better if you’re say trading on CME comparative to a retail ECN account but the real volume gets done on the big cash exchanges so I would still say that most of the information in the market is in the cash and not in the futures.
