Will Greek elections spoil the Euro?

The announcement of early elections in Greece could put the Greek drama front and center once again in what seems to be a never-ending story, a bad one at that. At some point those who claimed contagion victory will see that the patchwork put in place will rip apart all over again. In my opinion very little has been accomplished and nothing fixed for the long-term. Other countries should take note in this classical drama of what can happen if you kick the can down the road for too long.

I think the last 75 pips the Euro gave up where due to fears of what it could mean for the issues Greece is still facing. I really like the EURGBP around current levels just off of its intra-day low around 0.7750.

My personal view is the Euro is quite capable of spoiling itself. Greece can only give it a helping hand.

Quite…
