QE from the ECB?

Will we get the €500 billion announcement this week?

I think there has been so much chatter about it that the ECB will go ahead and either announce the start of it or pre-announce it for the next meeting, but that the €500 can be basically penciled in. Looks to me like the markets already priced it in.

If anyone here could answer that they would make millions

I think the consensus of the analysts is we will get ‘something’ but that size is going to be what is important.

Perhaps that’s even not necessary, since Euro lost a lot in last week and will continue losing because of CHF peg removed. One could expect the prices to rise in Eurozone and slight deflation could turn into inflation. It is not clear, how ECB would distribute the QE money between the countries, so I would expect no QE this week.
