Default Which RSI?

What period RSI is the recommended period? I use RSI 10. I don't know a whole lot about RSI periods. Could someone help me out. What are your suggestions?

Could you explain your reasoning for those periods and what time frame they work well in?

I think he might be referring to which Conditions indicate over bought or oversold. Aka Above/below 80/20 or 70/30. I personally use up to RSI(14) for volatile or noisy pairs, and low as RSI(7) for more calm pairs

Thanks for the link. I think I'm sticking with my 14 level.
