Is it XAU/USD a two digits? Where the 1 pip in XAU/USD?

Is it XAU/USD a two digits? Where the 1 pip in XAU/USD?

For example rate: 1268.65 then 1 pip is 0000.01??

yes.

2 digits.

means 2000 points on gold is the equivalent of 200 on dow jones or 200 on oil or 200 on ftse etc.

therefore your positions on gold must be 10 times less then on oil or dow and you have the same gain/loss on the trades.

or in other words: if you usually trade 10$/pip on oil or eur/usd then on gold you must trade 1$/pip to have the same gain/loss. if you trade 10$/pip on gold its like trading 100$/pip on oil or dow or eur/usd.

If we consider gold its standard lot is 100 ounces base currency and its spread is till 2 decimal place which means 1 pip= $1. Similarly if I consider crude oil where standard lot= 1000 barrels base currency and spread is 2 decimal places but in this case 1 pip= $10. That is why 2000 points on gold is equal to 200 on oil.

That’s correct. 1836.01 to 1836.10 means 9 pips movement.
If you buy one micro lot (0.01) from 1823.00 to 1824.00 you earned 1$
If you buy one mini lot (0.1) from 1823.00 to 1824.00 you earned 10$
If you buy one lot from (1.0)1823.00 to 1824.00 you earned 100$

Yes, it is two digits. Here, you will get 2000 points on Gold that are equivalent to 200 on oil. This also means that your positions on Gold are 10 times less than on oil.
