Default arbitrage
Is there really such thing as arbitrage in forex? Does anybody have actually made any profit with it?

There is, just as there is in any market. But as it generally the case, it requires a healthy amount of resources and considerable speed to have any chance of being worthwhile. As such, it's something more in the realm of institutions than individuals traders.
