why james delete this method?

Because he is going Live with this system through "skype" I believe (See the thread below). He said people can still ask questions but I would think they should be familiar with the system before asking and that would be hard to do if the system has been deleted from the thread. I personally think that a thread should be "removed" if the author erases the whole message that started the thread in the first place. I know a lot of people do that on Oanda to get you hooked on their system and to see if it has merit, then they yank the rug out from under you and charge for it . I am not saying this is what James is doing but it is what I have seen in the past from other users. I am also not saying it is wrong because it is their system so they can do as they please with it .

On that note, this is why I love copy & paste for all the threads that I find interesting.

I took a GBP/JPY short trade today on a 15 min chart but then got stopped out, can u tell me what i done wrong?

some quick questions:

should i only take long trade in uptrend and vice versa?

u mention if the price go from bottom left to top right, then it's uptrend..how many periods should i look at?

Far as I can tell you didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes trades just don't work out. No system is going to give 100% winning signals.

As for taking trades in the direction of the trend, that is what I like to do personally. I feel more comfortable that way. I've been testing the system on 2005 data for GBP/USD and it seems to work better when only taking trades in the direction of the higher trend.
