many many thanks for your dedication to this forum and the much help you are giving us FX beginners. I have only just begun to read your IB system, but it looks seriously interesting, especially as it is used by major banks, so it must be valid!
Question:
you say the IB must be contained within the previous candle including shadows. What is meant by shadows (is this the wicks)?

and lastly, you have mentioned in one of your postings, you have a News system which you would share with us FX learners. Have you posted this yet, if not, are you still intending to. From what I've learnt from your other postings, this News system would also be of much interest to your avid readers.

Hi James,
In your IB system, you sa you look at the 1hr chart to gauge overall direction for the day (using 60sma) and then trade on the 15min chart. Does this mean you only trade in the direction of the 1hr chart? I think not. So what value to your trading on the 15min chart is the 1hr direction? Is it to gauge your feeling for the first 1-2 hours of trading?

Copy of system is orginally from Pipinvestor, the other one i started.
I suggest you read over this thread so you don't ask the same questions that have been asked many many times already.

Hello, i been trying this system for like a week and half, some losses, some winners, losses were mostly due to the lack of discipline, getting late on trades and such.
I been doing in a 15 min chart... but its a little too fast paced for my like, has anyone tried it on the 30 min chart? could you share your experience?
Anyway, thanks a lot to James for this wonderfull system.

really thanks for your trading system and it seems it's amazing system but , pleassssssssssssssse really i 've reade all the threats traying to understand the kind of the candles or IB please explain it more
1 - it has to be 2 pips down the previuos
that all i know about the charastrarestics about the IB candle
please how is the IB candles look like how you know it , is it one candls or 2 or 3 , i don't understand really please explain more give me examble and say if you see this it means IB
