Yes your right however the 5 period MA is for the scanner not the main chart i think its a old chart thats all
Yes the 15 min is good but you also need a bigger stop so it depends or your risk / reward if you trade on a 1hr chart your reward is even greater but so is your risk thats why this works well for everyone

Thumbs up The Inside Bar

Hi James,

Many thanks again for taking the time to repost Systems #2. Many of us were freaking out on the the tought of missing out this gem!

I am futures/forex trader, and I use the TradeStation platform. I tried to simulate your March 30th example, and boy, does it need a trained eye to see the IB. I lost it but I will keep trying.

Hi there
Look at 8.00am GMT London time today 2/04/07 on GBP/USD a nice IB for 30 pips one way long and after at 8.40 am 20 pips down around 50 pips for 40 mins work.

Aso check out @ 7.45 am GMT GBP / JPY an outside bar 60 pips move

Hope this helps

James

Now I am confused...on my chart the stoch. never went below 20 for a long but I do see an IB at 7:00 GMT (5 and 15 min TF) that went for 30 pips and on the 5 min chart I see the IB at 7:40 GMT that you are talking about...I am at broker IBFX.
