There is a system discussed on Forex Factory that is called the Big Dog System. It involves tracking the high/low from 7-9 am ET of the US session and then trading breakouts as it breaks the high/low. Has anybody traded this system in the past or is currently trading it? Any thoughts or results?
No, I have not. But a breakout is a breakout.
I am trading a version of the Big Dog called the NY Breakout. I started live last Tue and grabbed nearly 60 pips for Tu, Wed & Thu. My goal is 20 p/day and I believe it will do that consistently. Big Dog and nomoretoxic’s 5M have more following but the NY works well for me on the E/$, cable (which is the recommended pr), and swissy. I am going to try it out (demo) on the Asian. If the pr has more than a 60p price swing within the box, I don’t trade it.
