Question Anyone have a system for a ranging market?

    Hi everyone,
I am sorry if this is the wrong place, but I didn't know where else to ask this. Every system or strategy that I have looked at seems to look for breakouts or long trends. That is great except when the market ranges there are a ton of pips left on the table. So I wanted to know if anyone has a system for trading a ranging market? Any suggestions are welcome. I am not looking for a full system if it doesn't exist, just some advice to help a young trader.
    Thanks

    the MMTT system- nonbrainer edition
this is a good way to catch reversals in a range. If your trading a range you are trying to pick tops and bottoms look for systems that indicate over bought and over sold conditions. that MMTT thread is old but the method still brings pips and I know some traders that still use it every day. I have the chart template on mt4 and look at it often when I am looking for possible pairs to trade.

On this gap open we see a bull trap set by bears trying to eat raccoons in the upward secondary tick pattern that is divergent to our Proprietary order flow indicator. You can see the x rated exhaustion level by which all of the sheep will be pulled in and sheared by the smart money

Use S&R, Bollinger Bands, Candles and/or Pivot Points, and you can make a good strategy.
I not like range market because it not have a "force" that drives the price in one direction, like a trend. I realized it and that trend trading is the best way to have consistancy.
