Question about USD/JPY re: Scottish independence

Hey guys, new member here. I’m currently long USD/JPY and am planning to take a position (OCO) on either side of GBP/USD shortly before the Scottish independence vote is reached. In the event that Scotland votes for independence, I know that GBP/USD will obviously plummet. So my question is, would USD/JPY move up in this scenario?

I know that USD/JPY and GBP/USD tend to move in opposite directions for obvious reasons, but in the case of Scottish independence (which would have an effect on global markets), do you think independence would hurt USD/JPY? For example, JPY is considered a safe haven, so even if GBP plummets against USD, couldn’t USD/JPY fall if markets are taking the safe haven approach? Thanks for listening.

Hmmm, I looked at the two pairs and reckon in an hourly chart at the time of results
The’ll go pretty much opposite.
