Am trying to backtest and optimize my strategy for the first time in my trading life using the FXCM trade station platform. The result that came out shows zero on all the the activities and my balance remains unchanged even though there was signals generated. am using the moving average for the project. any help please?
Hi Anang,
First, you must make sure that it’s set as a strategy and not a signal. Also, your strategy needs to be set to be “allowed to trade”. You can see this in the strategy parameters before you run the backtest.
