Hi everyone,

my name is ben and I am looking forward to hear others views and getting a chance to learn.

Hello everyone, this is Valerie from Singapore. I’m very new to this whole trading world. So far I really enjoy it. I got super busy with the uni and I had to take fewer shifts at work and that of course caused my salary to decrease :frowning: so my best friend’s father gave me the idea to trade online. I’m with this company called solidCFD and so far I really like them. They have great educational department and I learnt a lot from them and I really like my senior broker, he seems very competent at what he’s doing and by far I’m quite happy with my profits. But I still count as a beginner so that’s why I’m here, so I can learn as much as possible from other traders

Hellooooo my fellow forexies and forexas
a very good afternoon/night/morn to you all from the beautiful and political neutral city of Washington DC

thank you
PS: just opened an account on forex.com - real one…not fiction

Hi guys, “I am very wet behind the ears” in forest trading but am keen to catch up fast.
I came across fired trading through my wife and started trading on a demo (mt4) and got hooked on trading and now what to be serious about it. I have plenty of questions already I hope you won’t tire of answering but your patience in me will not be wasted.( I believe I am that special one the world of foresight has been waiting for)

That must be from the rain forest, then?

She was watching “The Apprentice” at the time, perhaps?

Welcome to the forum, and good luck with your “auto-complete” …

Haha, this is brilliant. Lexys the one liner, first time I’ve legitimitly laughed in a while.

Hi,

Hello everyone!
My name is Mark and Im newbie for babypips. Im 23 and I m studying law. Just several months ago I got acquainted with a new friend who actually inspired me to start learning forex. I must admit that I never can imagine myself being passionate about forex trading.
Right now I m reading books about trading basics and searching helpful material online about trading, also trying demo trading with different brokers , hope to become a trader one day!
I m here to knew smth new and to learn from others.

Welcome to the forum, Mark. Maybe the fact that you’re here and inviting interaction means you’re open to changing your mind about that, and maybe it will suit you?

Apart from this (the “School” at BabyPips) I’d advise you to avoid most online “information” for the reasons explained in this post (where the comments made about Youtube specifically also apply in general to online “information”!).

There’s a list of recommended books here, if it helps/interests you.

Good luck - looking forward to hearing more from you.

Hello people, my names Mike and I am a newbie to babypips.com and trading. Started trading around 6-7 months ago so every day is a lesson for me here, found many of the lesson quite helpful. Currently trading at Swiss markets using the MT4 as i find it simple to use, although i tried out the cTrader today with FxPro and it seemed pretty awesome… May have to shift over eventually.

Always had an interest in the markets as I grew up with a father that was a Financial Advisor. The news was on 24/7 basically… Anyway have a great day errbody…

Oh and I love my old school hip hop early 90s era  Trade on

Some of us think almost anything is a huge improvement on MT4 …

You took hip-hop at your old school? Cool alternative for the people who don’t want to take Latin …

Interesting thread I will check it out, I guess the MT4 was my intro to trading so I’m sticking to what I know for now. cTrader will definitely be my next step.

Haha, yeah Latin wasn’t my forte at school. Latin music on the other hand… :59:

Hi,
I’m Alicia! I have been enjoying the babypips school so far! Very informative! I am originally from Jamaica but have been living in the US for over 10 years now. I am a singer with a passion for Not-doing-a-9-5!
I’m really excited about mastering Forex and being apart of the hub, and I hope to make some great friends and learning as much as I possibly can from this community here!

One Love!

It’s turning into something of a musical thread, then … welcome, Alicia …

Hello, my name is Galy,

I’m from France, a nice country where you pay plenty of taxes and even more when you earn a some money.

I’m 30 years old, and i’m interested by trading since i began to earn some money and i realised that my bank and my country (France) are stilling me with taxes, etc even if it’s legal i feel like stolen !

I heard about this forum from a french trader whom told me to learn basics here because it’s great.

I plan to start trading after completing the school with a test acount somewhere in first time and then with real money if the first step is a succes!

I’ll be glad to share with you my experience on the forum and to learn about yours.

Btw excuse my poor english!

See you.
