Hi all, names Velk. I’m 22 years old and am a full time online poker player. Just dove down the rabbit hole today and learned about forex trading. Taken a few years of babypips school and reading various forums, threads, etc. I find it interesting and if anything is a nice refreshing subject to learn about other than poker. I am drawn by some of the similarities I see between poker and FX.
Are there any “holy grail” sort of sources when it comes to complete newbies?
Can your poker knowledge help you with forex?
In poker it is sample size that matters…in other words get your money in consistently with the best of it and in the long run you will be a winning player. The fact that poor players often crack your big hands or suck out on the river is what makes a very profitable game for many…no luck needed. You just get the required skills and go play at a place like QQ Clubs. It is great for newbies because the people there are not really that great players and you will have a good chance of winning.
