People are taunting me in this thread. The forum admins should tell them to stop. I should be allowed to voice my opinion so long as I don't break forum rules. If people flame me, they are the problem, not me.
I can see you just don't see, or take responsibility for your part. Yes it's their problem, but when you respond and engage, you make it your problem. So then you just keep perpetuating the "problem"...see?

Sure it takes 2 to tango, but one of the two is the leader...which are you? Leaders steer the dance in the right direction, they don't stop and blame the partner for stepping on their toe cause if they did, they aren't much of a leader.

You want the admins to tell someone to stop taunting you? If you can't put someone on you're ignore list and stop it yourself, then you do have a problem.

Putting someone on ignore is one way to handle this. But that does not solve the real issue. The taunting needs to be stopped at the source, don't you agree?

So long as BabyPips allow the taunting to continue, the problem on certain thread will continue. Stop the taunting and that problem will be solved once and for all without having to close threads, don't you agree?

The real issue is that you can't stop the taunters, any more than you can stop a loss. Even tho this site is called babypips, the admins are not our parents and we are not babies.

Taunting is subjective specially on a forum. Some think when you type in CAPS that you are YELLING AT THEM... some make jokes without using smiley faces...maybe the joke was taken as an insult...so where do you draw the line between an outright taunt and something taken the wrong way which then escalates?

You can only control your reaction to the taunters and choose to retort or ignore, or ask for clarification. If the taunters get out of control without provacation, then babypips will deal with them. They've done it to others not TRO related.

I read recently that the reason we traders do this business is because of the freedom it could allows us. Freedom from bosses, freedom from money worries, freedom to do what we want to do. However, we do not really possess the discipline to the handle the freedom. Just because we have the right to say what we want, doesn't mean we always should because it's far too powerful a thing for some to handle properly.

The real issue is the forum admins CAN stop the taunting but fail to do so even after they have been made aware of the situation.

All of the people causing trouble in the NEVER LOSE AGAIN thread that led to it being shut down.

Had the admins stop the taunting, the thread would have been fine.

You're missing the point. Sweet Pips is trying to explain that just because you define it as taunting does not make it so.

I'm sure somehow you think even me replying to you is some form of attack.

This much I know. Your emotions are your own. If you're feeling attacked, then guess what? That's your feeling. Meaning you are the one that has to deal with it and handle it.

If you're being taunted, then again, that's your feeling. You are responsible for your feeling and you are the one that has to deal with it.

I'll tell ya this much. People allow themselves to be bullied. And my friend, you're doing so by playing too hard the defensive angle. You're effectively creating a fictitious offense by overlaying such a strong defense.

Man up. You're Frankenstein for cripes' sakes. (Recognize that's a joke). That dude didn't display the range of emotion you are.

Don't forget the simple fact that all you are reading on this thread is words. Just words. How you decide to react to these words is your decision. You very well can choose not to read the words at all and go on enjoying your life.

Someone saved the thread so traders will be able to read it.
