I just saw this on ebay and want to boost my Forex Affiliate earnings, do you think these are worth it?

The link works fine for me as long as you add the 'www' before it.
I would be very surprised if a domain or even a group of domains that is currently bid at £5.50 was ever going to make you much coin. If it goes cheap and you have an existing, related website then they could be worth a punt, but given you will have hosting costs they don't look a good investment to me. The world is full of domains, many of them cheap, and with new domains being released all the time, with different suffixes now available, I think that this cheap domain thing is a flooded marketplace. I would focus on getting a decent website with a decent product rather than trying to lure people in with cheesy stuff like this, personally. Not digging at you - but since you asked, I don't see you ever making your fortune with these!
I've done some internet marketing in the past. I stopped because I didn't really enjoy doing it.
I would think that Forex is highly competitive for search engine rankings, however doing a little keyword research can help you find out for sure. Use the free version of Market Samurai, Traffic Travis, or some other keyword research tool to find out what the competition looks like and to get a feel for if you think you can beat them or not. You need to research thousands of keywords to find the ones with decent traffic and low competition.
Since these are allegedly established domains, you can ask the seller for traffic logs. These can be faked, so be careful. You can also look up the domains on a site like alexa.com to get an idea of what kind of traffic these sites already have.
The content that is already on these domains is very thin, so you'll need to spend some time re-developing them. After doing that, you'll need to spend some time each week updating them with new content or outsource this task. You'll either need to spend time, money, or both in order to keep the content fresh to earn some "Google love" and get (or keep) some good rankings and traffic.
Hope this gives a good start,
Nick
The bottom line is how much money are those sites bringing in on a monthly basis? If they are bringing in say $100/month then it will usually sell between 8x-15x it's monthly value ($800 to $1500). But if they are collectively only bringing in say $1/month, then I wouldn't spend more than $10 on them. Make sure you verify the stats! Traffic can be forged as well so always be careful...
