Hi Aka, had a read of your posts, what's happening really sucks.
Have a look at something called a CFD (contract for difference) a quick google found CMC markets and IG Index do them in Canada, sure there will be more.
    Good luck.

AK, I have something for tou to ponder. Do you know anyone that successfully trades the Turtle soup concept? What I mean by this is have you seen their live blotter or "audited by independant party" documentation? Also, there is chatter, on the Currrenex Intranet that the Quants are out in force today.

    Dear akeakamai

    Good morning

Please could I ask you what Session indicator you uploaded, so that you could see the times of the different sessions on your charts for yesterday. It's much neater than the blocks of colours i've seen!

I am a newbie - 6 weeks - but trying things out as l go.

I was about to try a bullish move but I'll be a bear...

    Thank you.

Thanks for commenting on my threat regarding long term trend trading. You're right when you mentioned needing a knowledge of support and resistance. I've tried for a long time to get a good understanding of support and resistance as well as using Fibs, but I only have a basic understanding of it all. For the most part, I understand what support and resistance levels are and I can see them on the charts, but I am oblivious to determining future levels, or where the pull back will be, or if it's a pull back at all versus a change in direction.

Can you help me out in understanding this and how to implement it into my trading strategy? I'd really appreciate any help you can offer.

    Hi akeakamai,
Read your post in the "Program that tracks trading progress?" thread.
    Good post.
I have been thinking lately how to do these things (ie things mentioned in the thread) in Excel, but hadn't gotten far!
I would be interested in some tips re the spreadsheets for traders in Excel.
Do you know of any how to, books or websites on this topic?
Thank you for your time, hope to hear from you soon.
    Tom
