What's good Mitch, how was your Christmas and New Years ?

I've been pretty slack myself. I haven't touched my system since the last time we exchanged thoughts. I've been a bit concered about the state of the global economy forcing currency trading into unseen territory. So I've been using my time to study more and look into other systems out there while the bigger picture improves

I'd really like to use something with little to no indicators, short time frames and a solid money management system. My father in-law is using a simple Bollinger Band system which looks promising. Another is the Goji System that I'm currently looking at. I'm turned off by lagging indicators now and want to get into little to no indicators or use indicators that don't lag at all

I'm really interested to see your plan and compare it with mine. My strategy is still in the testing phase. I hope to have more time to test it now that my part time study is finished for the year, but I'm not sure how well the results will be considering that holiday season is coming up and a lot of traders won't be trading. I've given myself til April '09 to gather results, so hopefully by then I should have a good collection on facts and figures

I like scalping on the 1 minute charts because of the quick wins. Sometimes they are 5+ pips, sometimes there are 100+ pips and only in a matter of minutes. Your system is based on the 1 minute charts, right ?

One of my main concerns at the moment is the time zone I'm in. At the moment it's GMT+13 (daylight savings) and can't trade anything solid until the London market opens at 2100, but there is some opportunities to be taken

Operating system ? I'm using Windows XP (if that's what you mean)
Charting program ? Currently using the AvaTrader platform but will change to GFT's when I trade for real
