I can't comment on swap-free brokers but I believe that JadeFX is one of the better brokers. TheCollectiveFX is the absolute best but they are no longer accepting members.
A broker is a personal choice based on inddividual requirements. Some people like high leverage, microlots(0.01) and minimal deposit. Unfortunately the best brokers are STP/ECN brokers and their minimum lotsize is 0.1 and typically they only offer 1:100 leverage. In order to trade sensibly you typically need at least $2000 deposit for these brokers.
I believe that the fixed spread broker model is not a viable option from the traders point of view. Point is, the moment I hear fixed spreads, I start running away.
