    Dear Sweetpip,
I have a guide that shows the end of Wave Table for projecting wave targets using Elliot Wave and Fibonacci. It is slightly different than what you have going but I would be happy to share it with you if you are interested. I didn't post it until you say you want to see it because I would hate to get you off track - but it is rather simple to understand and you may want to include it in you plan development.

    Hi Quinton,
If I could have found an MT4 broker that accepted BC Canadians at the time I opened my live account, I wouldn't have gone with FXCM. Later on they did offer MT4 to us but wanted a $5k deposit. Now they've lowered it to $2k so am working towards that.
The thing I don't like about FXCM's platform is the lack of custom indicators ...MT4 is so much better in that regard. So I have to have a demo MT4 charts so I can use my indicators but place the orders with FXCM...it's a bit of a hassle and I don't like it.
Also, FXCM Canada seems to have better (lower) spreads, and isn't affected by the new FIFO rules, so I can still place limit & stop orders. I don't know about the MT4 plugin??? The other limitation is that they won't let you trade micro lots with a mini account.
Hope that helps for what it's worth

Hi Sweet Pip my name is Quinton and I have been involved in FX for about a year now finding out as much info as I can. I am now ready to open a 2000 USD account with FXCM but before I go ahead I wanted to know if you could help me out in making the right decision. My concerns are 1: Fxcm says any account under 10K has a dealing desk which im not too keen on. 2: Im skeptikal about trading on MT as I have seen they have a plugin which looks like a scam. 3: I need to find the right platform for a 2k account. I hope you can send me in the right direction. pleeeeeeese Thanks Quinton

Hello Sweetpip! You've posted a lot of helpful topics on this forum, and I just wanted to thank you. Do you have a website with forex topics (rydersranch is a bit off topic )? If not, you should consider it - something like memblog.com. You can charge in CAD, and I think your rep here should take you far. If you already have a site, please add it to your contact info! I'm most interested to see what you have.

    Hi peke01
Well, I'll either enter a trade when price IS crossing a support or resistance line...don't necessarily have to wait for a candle to close or open when it's "breaking" it,... or at the beginning of a candle for a "bounce" off support or resistance once it starts moving in that direction. So if after 3 same colored bars, say red, I'll wait for the 4th to open and become green by about 4 or 5 pips.

Hope that works for you...test it in demo. This is scalping so sometimes you need to be really quick, which why I always set a take profit of 10-20 pips, and I don't usually set a stop loss.

    hello Sweet Pip,

this looks a very promising method, can you tell me when you enter a trade?
does this only work on 1 hour charts?

    Thnxs Peke01
