Tymen; On GFT you can just click on your stop line and drag it to the point where you would have originally closed your postion. Locking in your 10 pips but allowing trade to progress, If it should turn against you it will stop you out at your 10 pips,, Nothing lost but possible extra pips.

To KENNETH LEE :

Ah, I know now what you are saying - I know the procedure but I just could not understand your words. Silly me.

What you mean is to move your stop loss to lock in a set profit. In this case 10 pips. A forward move means more pips, a pullback means a minumum of 10 pips.

Of course, you can always move the stop loss again to say 15 pips and move it every say 5 pips until the end!

The setup I finally came up with is this;

2 moniters; 15inch laptop, 26 lcd external

I put the charts on the 26 inch, and undock the workspace tab bar and quote boards and put them on the 15 inch. 12 charts tile nicely on the 26 inch and I can see all the details, when a pattern appears, I magnify the 5M.

I have 6 workspaces with linked quoteboards filtered to two pairs each. Visually it's easy to navigate through 12 pairs. 1 more workspace with all 12 pairs on the 20M to watch movement. Total 7 workspaces.

It's been working nicely for me so far.
Nice little set up there you have got, I see. Wow!!

Also, you need to set your stop loss looking at the main chart and not the 5 minute chart!!

Good trading to you - but it is weekend now!

See you Monday.

Hi Tymen1,thank you for all the time and effort you've put in this thread, ive been reading with great interest. I like the idea of keeping things simple, and basically trading naked..

Trading naked with candles?

Does this mean get in the buff and light some scented candles around the place?

Sounds romantic guys but I don't swing that way.

Tymen; I was setting up my platform this weekend ,and rereading thread. I came across a question.. In first of thread ,you list KC settings as period 5 factor 1, Twice this was entered. Then later it is listed as 10 Period 1 Factor. Just curios which should we use ?

Going to try and attach a screen shot of my layout, I have 4 screens like this and one with 5 minute charts for each pair.
Thanks Ken

The answer is period 5, factor 1. The aim of this is to put most, if not all of the chart activity inside the Keltner.
The period 10 is the default but again I say to confirm.......we use period....5,
factor 1.

Yep, thats Dealbook alright. Your, the latest version is green. My version is earlier and is bluish.
