I do have to say that if you followed the signals, you took the risk all by yourself. Nothing is guaranteed. I think they do have quite a nice little setup that gives you some pretty good information and nice, well done videos...all for free. Now, I am not trading news. I do not have the skills for that yet. It will be a long time before I attempt it for real. However, I do enjoy reviewing their material. It does teach me. Yes, they do 'push' their PAY FOR products. I just ignore it, besides, I CANNOT afford it any way! lol

I find their daily e-mails extremely useful in that they are an easy way to be aware of any news coming out that may effect my trades.

Exactly. That is what I do with it as well. I rely on candle patterns but they become completely useless at important news times. I mean BIG NEWS, like NFPs, Interest Rates, etc. Typically, just leave everything alone for 15 minutes and all is well again. lol

Yes, FPA does have a nice calendar. Also, DailyFX has a good one too. Personally, I think the FPA calendar is better.

This thread was started by a scammer (fxandy) and is about a scammer (fxbastards).

Enough said. If you are a positive thinking person and spent only 15 seconds at that site you would realize that site is full of losers. Don't be a loser.

Learn to trade and stay away from that site. Babypips is a great site if you want to be a serious market trader.

Yes, I am drunk celebrating the greatest day of my life (fathers day). So forgive me for any hurt feelings about such a loser mentality of the markets (fx bastards peace army or whatever).

Come on. Felix (or whoever) contacted him for $2000 more dollars to continue the fight. Fight for what? Being a loser?

I am surprised at senior members here using such an effing awful service from people that have only one intention.

STAY AT BABYPIPS AND BE A WINNER, NOT A WEINER.

A little late, but from one father to another, happy father's day. Nothing like taking a day to reflect on and celebrate your child's presence in your life!

And if I'm not mistaken, the signals sent out by "Crazy Cat and Sir Pips" (which I still receive in one of my trading inboxes, but haven't looked at since they became password-protected) are still geared toward event traders. The analysis there is mildly helpful - no moreso, really, than one of a half-dozen economic calendars updated in ~real-time (FF, here, ForexStreet, ActionForex, DailyFX, etc.) and there's no sense in not using it; but free information is like a free sample in front of a restaurant at the mall - it is marketing and the motivation is profit, not some philanthropic enterprise.

I agree Brian, I find their daily free news analysis very useful, not for trading, but to learn how the different news events affect the market. It helps me know what to do about positions I currently am in and to increase my knowledge level in general. The videos are excellent for this.
These free services are leaders to get people into their paid services, which is fine, but like Brian, I can't afford it & also have learned there are no gurus who will lead you to the Promised Pipland. All the information you need to make money in forex is right here on Babypips & all for free

Andrew, the daily news is password protected but the send the pw in every email, it is 4343.

Definitely cannot argue with that.

Did I write that rant?

Happy late father's day to you and all the other dads too.

Yeah I always see it, but there isn't enough incentive generated by what is on the other end to take that extra step to access the info.

I think most anything you pay for on the internet is worthless. Go to the library if you want more info. Anyone selling any strategy is suspect in my opinion. Anyone selling advice is right beside them. All the info you need is available for free.
