I assume you are talking about the MT4 platform. I don't use ea's, but from what I have heard, you will need MT4 up and running for them and trailing stops.

You will need Metatrader open and running to keep your EA active. I personally lease a VPN and have it running there to ensure I won't get stuck in a trade in the event of a power outage or my computer gives out on me.

The cost for me is $40 a month.
