Default 1st trade on my demo account

Yesterday after reading the explanation of the candlecharts I decided to try out what I learned from the school. So I placed a trade.

1st Informed Demo Trade

Completed Close Position (1.57366, EUR/USD, Bought 2,000K, 00611837) 6/30/2008 12:41 6/30/2008 12:41

Total 55,897.68

Day P/L: 6,038.68

So does that mean I did it right? I'm Assuming P/L Means Profits and Losses but im not sure.

Good first trade, if your plan on going LIVE with 50 grand then thats fine
but if your only putting 1000 or a 5000 account, i would start a demo account
to mirror what you would start a live account on..

keeps it more realistic

I wish there was a way I could have a demo account with $1000 dollars. All of these demos start off assuming I'm bill gates and 50,000-100,000 is only peanuts...

If you are using MT4 you set the amount you want to start with.

lol...

Most MT4 demos allow you to set the option lower. I think 3000 is the lowest Ive seen. Whne you are setting up your registration it has a pull down menu where you cna lower the initial deposit.

Just found the option in Oanda to add or remove funds. Sweet! thanks guys.

*Note- The charts are not so great with the Oanda client, FXCM Trading station II's chart systems rock hard..
