Forex moms

not being a stay at home mom, or even vaguely a mom, accept my apologies for often jumping in here, BUT all i wish is to provide a male cheering squad for youse peeps !

the internet has opened a whole new world from the days i started trading in the most exclusive (welll -- there may have been others) bucket shop in the world --- Westchester Country Club in Harrison NY. (THIS was one of the GREAT spots in the heyday of the 1920's and the WASP social stratosphere, and I a mere Jewish boy fooled my friends and soon was trading there ! (IF they had only known !)

I was in awe of the 18' high ceilings, but being an older teenager, I was more in awe of the two women, dressed in french maids outfits, who climbed the 20' library style rolling ladders to change the numbers on the board (NO LED's back in the 50's) The older traders, sipping brandy and cognac and smoking cigars in their lounge chairs were pretty much in awe also !

BUT that was then and this is now and while my life was spent in making actresses and models look even more radiant and wonderful than they already were, i developed a love of women coupled with a respect and admiration of how and what their brains could accomplish.

Who else can juggle two babies, answer the phone, clean the house, prepare the meals, balance the checkbook and be waiting, fresh and radiant, for "hubby" at the end of day with a wonderfully fresh meal !

OK -- small joke there as most of what i say is tongue in cheek, but I remain more than serious about loving to see more and more women enter the trading market as the non-testosterone approach is so refreshing compared to the males who gather and "declare" war on each other !

for those who think the "jargon" hard to learn, let us remember this is a whole NEW world, with its own culture and rules and language, and while it appears difficult at first, its lt simply gets easier and easier each day, as you simply ingest and begin to understand whats happening ---- simply hanging around, listening to whats said, asking questions if you dont understand and perhaps sleeping on a book about forex, will soon have you an old pro with the words at least.

Like anything else, its rewards DO NOT come to those who enter QUICKLY, but they DO COME !!!!!!!

I salute ALL of you, and for those who have seen my posts, please understand that you all, as a group, help inspire me ---- all of what you wish will come true if you want it (and this is not some kind of wishy washy new age, zen philosophy mixed in with sun tan lotion) and you wont even have to wear Dorothy's shoes, spin around or click those shoes together ---- day after day your knowledge will grow, and after doing a demo (ONLY OPEN A DEMO FOR THE AMOUNT YOU REALLY INTEND TO TRADE WITH !!!) A year should have you pointed in the correct direction.l

for those interested in college money for their children, if youre good, patient and develop your own simple system, you might just OWN the college when theyre ready to enroll !

Forex offers SO MUCH FREEDOM and monetary reward that its obvious why women were kept out ---- like WW1, when the boys came home, "How ya gonna keep em down on the farm once they seen Pareee ?"

AND THEY DIDNT STAY ON THE FARMS !

given my philosophical direction and humorous bent, that description most certainly fits as long as foreplay consists of being in bed and studying forex !

it requires much more foreplay than you would think, but the end result can be quite amazing !

MP Your posts are really interesting, and you know it, Although you are ironic there is something useful deeply in your comments. ahh without joking moms act magically everyday that’s why I admire the ones that additionally of the daily works are trading in FX market.

thnx for the compliment, as i love to have fun and forex and trading have to be a few of the greatest fun things one can get involved in.

as life usually contains one MAJOR topside resistance point which I have NOT been able to chart no matter how hard i try, and that G-D and nature has given me a wonderful life so far, I get into "payback" mode often.

my 2 daughters are NOT interested in the family business at this point, so ive got to bore others to death ---- guess thats my reason for being here at this point !

while women may find trading a bit intimidating at first, in very short time the light bulb goes off and you begin to understand whats going on simply because if a man can understand and do it, ANY woman should become a genius at it !

to make that "understanding" a touch easier, may i suggest you place the following chart overlay into your "indicators" folder in your MT4 demo program.
Although there is a very good system built on this overlay, i put it forth only so you can SEE, in a very graphic manner, WHAT that price is doing while dancing all over your charts !

the jpeg (or whatever that graphic is) will show you how it works, with the green lines showing the present trend in THAT timeframe --- notice how the price moves from the top to the bottom and back to the top within the channel ? That tends to be what forex does, unless disturbed by news, at which time it goes nuts for a while and then comes almost right back to where it left home !

the WHITE lines are drawn with the tool in MT4 and simply show the MINOR trend within the MAJOR trend, giving you a chance to short when the trend is short and go long when thats whats happening.

while there are speed bumps within all of this, the overall DESIRE of ANY forex currency is to stick with its trend, and forex is the MOST trending beastie in the whole world !

so if you got that much installed, watched and learned, youre already WAY ahead of most traders, be they men, women or reality tv peoples !

Forex cannot be turned into a gender matter, men as well as women have capabilities to trade on Forex. Moms have a plus because we're all the time thinking on how to improve our income to provide our children with a better life style. That's the reason for all of us to be here trying to learn as much as possible and taking care of the children at the same time.

Are any of you trying to trade with toddlers at home? If so, any tips?

I don't want to put the TV on babysitting duty, but it's almost impossible to keep your concentration with a 2 and 4 year old running about, putting each other into headlocks, performing swan dives from various furniture, and running around commando.

Maybe things will calm down a bit next year when one of them is off to pre-school...

Hello to all moms trading here..I'm a mom myself raising an 8-month old daughter here in Australia. I am very much interested in earning from forex as well. At the moment, I'm just stay-at-home. I have long been looking for a way to supplement my hubby's income. We recently just moved here from a different country, with no family and friends here to support us. Life is hard and we want to give our daughter the best future we can provide. I stumbled on this site through surfing, and I'm glad I found it. Currently, I'm still going through the School of Pipsology. I have tried an automated forex signal generator with a certain company, but they just dissapointed me. Are there any moms here who can sugggest a system or strategy for someone like me, a newbie?Please give me advice on how to do this correctly. I really am looking for a system that works.
