    Default What is spreadbetting?

I see this term used around but I don't know exactly what it means. Can someone explain it for me and is it available to US traders? Thanks for your help in advance!

    Default Spread betting

Speadbetting ,if I am not mistaken is spread trading ...Not really sure ? But you can read about spreadtrading at:

    www.traderslibrary.com

Something about interest rates and hedgeing and Currencies in corralation with each other.

Anyway check out this Web site and see if that answers your question better and with more details.

    Hope that helps.
    Happy trading Day!

no 'spread betting' is not the same as 'spread trading' per se' although some UK traders do sometimes refer to 'spread betting' as 'spread trading' to remove the 'evil' betting connotation - you can find a lot of free information on spread betting at http://www.financial-spread-betting.com. Hope this helps
