Has anyone used FXCM’s software? How does it compare to Metatrader.
I’m in the UK so can get tax free profits if I spread bet plus it means that the profit is per pip, it is not divided by the exchange rate later which means more profit on GBP pairs I think.
With FXCM’s software do you mean Trading Station II for their micro accounts? If so I use it and I don’t have any complaints.
As for the UK tax free profits on spread bets…I’m not sure what the answer would be.

Does it have all the functionality that MT4 has like being able to draw trendlines, different chart timescales?
Yes you can draw lines and see various timescales (tick, 1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 60 min, daily, weekly, monthly).
I haven’t used MT4 before so I may not be the best person to get comparison information from.
From what I hear Trading Station does NOT have 4 hour charts.
I know you use them, SanMiguel, so that might be a major issue for you. Their charts go straight from 1H to daily…
Would be a case of using MT4 and then just buying or selling on their platform then.
type “h4” in the drop down on tradestation2 you should get a 4 hour chart I do.
